Goals from Shelina Zardorsky and Adriana Leon were enough to deliver the win for Canada while goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan’s performance prevented Brazil from equalising, conceding one goal from Brazil’s eight shots on target. Amanda Allen subbed in the 71st minute making this her first international “A” appearance. “It was an exciting game to watch, we created some great chances”, said Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team Head Coach Bev Priestman.
